Patients to be careful of receiving text messages asking for personal information to be sent, as this is a scam.  Please do not respond to these text messages sharing your personal details.  Cervical screen reminders and appointment reminders do not request your personal information, so these would be correct.

To reduce your chances of catching COVID-19 and reduce pressure on your local GP practice during this busy time, appointments will be carried out over the phone, unless there is a clinical need for you to come into the practice (for example, injections, dressings etc). This will help minimise risk while continuing to ensure people get the care and advice they need.

Anyone with a booked appointment will be contacted in due course.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19 we ask that you kindly register electronically with your local pharmacy, this will reduce the risk for patients and staff.

We thank you for your understanding.

Advice for parents during coronavirus

Whilst coronavirus is infectious to children it is rarely serious. If your child is unwell it is likely to be a non-coronavirus illness, rather than coronavirus itself.
